Our BioCor® Corrosion Protection Packaging

Our BioCor® solutions work using the VCI method. VCI stands for Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor. These inhibitors are released inside the sealed packaging, forming an invisible protective layer around the metal, preventing its reaction with air and moisture. After unpacking, the VCI evaporates without leaving any residue. This allows the packaged item to be used immediately without additional cleaning. BioCor® provides reliable multi-metal protection and protects steel, cast iron, aluminum and aluminum alloys, zinc, lead, tin, magnesium, copper, brass, bronze, silver, nickel, titanium, and chrome.

Series 300 BioCor® Corrosion Protection Films

BioCor® corrosion protection films are available in various formats and qualities. In addition to the proven classic, BioCor® CF, we have developed even more environmentally friendly variants. BioCor® HP is a high-strength yet reduced-thickness film that withstands heavy loads starting at just 50 μm. The R-Series films contain up to 75% recycled material, significantly reducing CO2 emissions and improving environmental performance.

Series 330 BioCor® Corrosion Protection Paper

Our BioCor® corrosion protection papers have been further developed. They are available as ultra-light yet robust smooth paper, providing reliable corrosion protection for metal goods. The thinner material and reduced weight also contribute to environmental protection. Additionally, you can get paper bubble wrap with integrated corrosion protection, ideal for shipping spare and small parts that require short-term transport and corrosion protection. For greater mechanical stress, our BioCor® papers are also available as creped and PE-coated versions.

Series 350 BioCor® HeavyDuty Packaging

Our HeavyDuty packaging withstands even strong mechanical stress. The HeavyDuty range includes BioCor® WrapFilm, a high-strength film, and BioCor® WrapWeave, a multi-layer PE film with integrated PP fabric for maximum strength. Thanks to patented bonding technology, both form a sealed protective layer around your product with just 30% overlap. Our BioCor® twin-wall sheets and dividers are especially suitable for transporting heavy and sensitive loads.

Series 370 VCI Dispensers

The MetPro PowerBox is a reusable VCI dispenser that protects metal goods from corrosion during transport and storage. It can be placed in containers, boxes, or control cabinets of any kind and reused up to 20 times.
